Goran Radman, Chairman
Goran is responsible for strategy and growth, promotion and acquisition of new projects in the private and public sector. Goran was Microsoft Corporation Chairman for South Eastern and Central Eastern Europe, where he worked for a number of years with governments and EU institutions in developing strategic and business relationships and projects. Prior to this, he was an international relations advisor to the President of Croatia, General Manager of the Croatian Television, and a manager of a private computer engineering and consultancy company. He completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in international relations at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Political Science and holds an MBA from Wharton Business School. Besides his role at Sense Consulting, Goran is an elected Dean and professor at VERN’ University, the largest private university in Croatia. He is also a member of the National Competitiveness Council, a policy advisory group to the Croatian Government, a frequent guest speaker at a number of national, regional and international business conferences and an author and co-author of articles and books in the field of international relations, media, management and IT.
Vedran Antoljak, Managing Director
Vedran has extensive experience in business management consulting domestically and internationally. He has been involved in strategy development, reorganization and restructuring, ESOP, M&A, ICT, policy development (innovation and knowledge management), impact assessment, project management and other management consulting projects. Vedran has also been an advisor to the Croatian Prime Minister in matters relating to preparation and implementation of regulatory reform efforts in Croatia (administrative simplification). In addition, he has led, developed and/or participated in a wide variety of projects at international institutions and government ministries in other European, Asian, African and Middle Eastern countries. Before this, he managed a consulting firm specialized in management consulting for private and public sector projects. Vedran has also been a private and financial sector specialist for the World Bank and the Head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Office in Croatia for four years. He was educated in Austria, Slovenia and USA and holds his master degree from the KF University in Graz, Austria. He has attended executive education courses at the Harvard Business School and Bled School of Management (IEDC). Mr. Antoljak is the author of a number of internationally acclaimed studies.
Marko Slunjski, Executive Director
Marko has extensive domestic and international experience in business management consulting and private/public sector challenges. He is a specialist in cost restructuring, supply chain management, optimization of business processes, green field and brown field investments, complete support to SMEs, EU funds, impact assessment and regulatory reform. Until recently, he was the Chief Business Officer at the Croatian Government reform program, where he monitored the guillotine review of thousands of regulations. In his consulting practice, Marko has been involved with a variety of corporate, SME, banking and foreign investment projects. Marko has build his consulting carrier through Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, Deloitte, Ely Lilly, USAID, and working for the World Bank, Bearing Point, Development Alternatives Inc. as well as many internationally funded projects. He has been an active trainer on many hard and soft skills courses for private and public sector. He holds an MBA degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and was educated in Croatia, Czech Republic and USA. He has also attended many professional courses in Croatia and internationally. Marko has CMC (Certified Management Consultant) and EFQM (European Foundation of Quality Management) certificates.
Tatjana Horvath, Senior Consultant
Tatjana is in charge of development and management of projects related to small and medium enterprises, large corporations and public organizations. This includes development of new consulting products and services and acquisition of clients. Her areas of expertise include sector and industry analysis, development and conduction of training curricula, competitiveness assessments, and many other areas of business consulting. Tatjana worked as a Finance Specialist on the USAID ESP Project (Enhancing SME Performance) and within this on a number of consultancy projects for financial institutions, local municipalities and entrepreneurs. Ms Horvath has given lectures and organized trainings in SME financing for entrepreneurs and financial institutions and provided initiative and support for the establishment of several Guarantee Funds in Croatia. She graduated with a major in Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, but has also attended classes at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. Tatjana is one of the authors of a study on competitiveness of Croatian counties, the renowned Regional Competitiveness Index 2007, funded by the UNDP Croatia.
Eli Mohamad, Senior Consultant
Eli is responsible for development and management of projects financed from international development funds (EU, World bank, etc.) and innovation management. His areas of expertise also include identification and implementation of projects related to commercialization of innovation, as well as the creation and maintenance of business networks with public institutions. Before joining Sense Consulting, he worked on public and private sector financing projects (Croatia), placement of new technologies on the market (QinetiQ, Plc, UK), research competencies mapping for participation in the Community Programmes (EU), and hospitality management (USA). He graduated from the American College of Management and Technology, Dubrovnik, Croatia and holds a masters degree from the University of Sussex, Management of Technology and Innovation Program. He is an enthusiast for emerging technologies.
Miroslav Kosović, Consultant
Miro is the founder of Sense Consulting’s EU department. He is responsible for preparation and evaluation of projects financed from international development funds, project management and acquisition. He is a specialist in regional development issues, project cycle management, and other analytical work pertaining to EU funded projects. His responsibilities also include marketing, PR and web development. He managed his own firm from 2004 to 2007 where he was in charge of managing a team of employees on different projects. He graduated in business and hospitality management from the American College of Management and Technology in Dubrovnik, a branch of Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, and holds a master's degree in European Studies from the Zagreb Faculty of Political Science.
Mariano Petković, Consultant
Mariano is an expert in the field of finance, responsible for analysis of companies and markets, business and financial planning, business consulting and development of financial models. Working as an independent consultant for a number of renowned Croatian and international companies, he gained a relevant experience in business consulting, with a strong focus on development of business plans, pre-investment, investment and feasibility studies. He graduated at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb and specialized in the area of analysis and business planning. Mariano is currently completing a Masters Degree in Financial Analysis at the same faculty. Building on his research interests in the area of business and financial analysis, in 2010 he enrolled in the CFA program of the prestigious CFA Institute, the world’s largest association of investment professionals.
Aleksandra Arbanas, Manager for finance and business development
Aleksandra Arbanas has a long term experience in the area of banking and financing. While managing the operations of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and collaborating with Croatian entrepreneurs and commercial banks, she implemented numerous projects related to investments in the industrial sector, tourism and infrastructure as well as renewable energy resources and energy efficiency. As the result of ten years of experience in working on development of banking products and services with Croatian entrepreneurs, domestic and foreign banks as well as financial institutions, she gained a valuable multilayered and versatile knowledge. Her expertise in the areas of risk and investment analysis and evaluation, structuring of financing sources, development of company restructuring plans and understanding of the financial markets is worth underlining. She led and managed a number of key projects within the bank, including negotiating new credit lines with international financial institutions, designing and developing a number of credit programs, aligning the bank's operations with the rules and regulations of the European Commission concerning state aid, managing the bank’s crucial individual loan portfolio and representing the bank in the crucial individual projects, such as rehabilitation and restructuring of a major Croatian shipyard. Aleksandra graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Osijek. She completed the General Management Programme of the William Davidson Institute, University of Michigan, USA, organized and implemented by the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. In Japan, she attended a specialized training on promotion of national competitiveness and the measures to trigger and sustain the economic development and growth, and attended a series of specialized courses in the field of management, business strategies, credit risk management and project financing. Together with prof. Đuro Njavro, she co-authored a textbook for Croatian high schools of economics: “A Historic Overview of the Economic Thought”.
Ana Jandreško, Consultant
Ana Jadreško is a consultant with Sense Consulting Ltd, responsible for preparation of projects proposed for the EU and other donor institution financing. This includes project proposal writing for EU funded tender services, as well as identification of potential business opportunities in corporate sector. Ana has a relevant experience in giving support to subjects of regional development, with a special emphasis on local and regional self-government units in the region (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia) on the topics regarding EU and EU funded projects. Her areas of expertise include preparation and coordination of projects financed from various funding sources (EU, World Bank and other donor institutions), as well as preparation of projects in the field of market research, analysis of strategic, institutional and other EU connected frameworks. Ana graduated in the field of tourism management at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, University of Rijeka, and also attended various professional courses.
